Bottle filler saves time

To save time filling bottles with milk for its calves, Tony Martin Dairy in Lemoore, Calif., built a bottle filler to attach to the end of its pasteurizer. This bottle filler allows the dairy’s calf feeder to fill three bottles at once. A lever controls the start, stop and flow of milk. This device also helps with clean-up, notes Barbara Martin. “We made ours out of stainless steel, but you could also make it out of PVC pipe.”
